Our HIIT Workouts – What They Do

Our workouts are meticulously designed to build muscle and burn fat in the shortest amount of time. As the name suggests, HIIT workouts consist of alternating between intervals of intense anaerobic activity and periods of rest. This cardiovascular exercise also makes use of additional resources, such as weights, to improve overall fitness levels. It’s the perfect way to release stress and give your body a much-needed dose of endorphins.

The Details

Lasting for up to an hour, HIIT requires strict adherence to a set of guidelines and protocols to reduce the risk of injury. At TruHIt Fitness, we start with a warm-up and explanation of the workout. The postures, positions, and intensity of each exercise are demonstrated and described to our clients before getting started.

From here, the workout commences and lasts between 35 to 45 minutes. Once it’s over, we make sure to stretch and cool down the body afterward. This helps bring down the heart rate and blood pressure gradually.

Equipment Used

The tools needed for a holistic HIIT workout are all provided at our fitness studio. We use a combination of free weights, TRX bands, cardio equipment, and bodyweight exercises to yield maximum results.

This also helps prevent muscle confusion, which ensures you get consistent results. These workouts are designed to target different body parts.
